Musanze: H4H organization visits and supports a mother living with physical disability

In a continued effort to promote compassion, solidarity, and social welfare among vulnerable communities, a charitable outreach activity was conducted on May 14, 2026, in Ruhengeri Cell, Muhoza Sector of Musanze District, where members of the non-governmental organization Help for Hopeless (H4H) visited and supported UMUGWANEZA Annonciathe, a woman living with a physical disability caused by a severe accident that left her unable to walk.

The humanitarian initiative was organized by Help for Hopeless (H4H), a Musanze-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the livelihoods of disadvantaged people through community support programs and social empowerment initiatives.

Established on October 24, 2025, H4H operates with a mission centered on enhancing the well-being of vulnerable populations, particularly the elderly and underprivileged individuals.

The organization also focuses on combating loneliness and psychological distress among senior citizens, empowering youth, promoting a saving culture, fighting malnutrition, and encouraging harmonious coexistence between humans and the environment.

Speaking to the media, Bizimana Alexis, the spokesperson and legal representative of H4H, emphasized that the visit was part of the organization’s long-term commitment to reaching out to people facing difficult living conditions.

“We aspire to reach as many vulnerable people as possible, even when we may not yet possess sufficient financial capacity to solve all their challenges. Sometimes simply visiting them, listening to them, and showing empathy can restore their sense of dignity and belonging within society,” he said.

He further explained that H4H provided the beneficiary with essential assistance, including food supplies and hygiene materials intended to support her daily living conditions.

Bizimana also noted that although H4H is still a young organization, it carries a strong vision of collaborating with different stakeholders, partners, and community members to achieve its objectives of uplifting the livelihoods of Rwandans, especially vulnerable groups, senior citizens, and disadvantaged youth.

He added that the organization is currently seeking partnerships and broader support to strengthen its humanitarian programs and expand its impact within communities.

Expressing deep gratitude and emotional relief, UMUGWANEZA Annonciathe thanked the members of H4H for their kindness and solidarity.

“When people visit me and spend time talking with me, I feel comforted and less isolated. My physical condition limits my mobility, and there are times when I spend long periods without interacting with others. I am truly grateful to these brothers and sisters who not only visited me, but also shared the little resources they had to support my daily needs. Their kindness has restored hope and encouragement in my life,” she said.

She also called upon members of society to continue caring for vulnerable people, stressing that such acts of compassion help restore hope, confidence, and a sense of inclusion among those facing hardships.

In conclusion, H4H urged the public to embrace a spirit of generosity and collective responsibility toward supporting disadvantaged members of society, emphasizing that sustainable social transformation begins with love, compassion, and human solidarity.

In a closing message, the organization stated: “Every person has something they can do to improve the lives of those in need. You do not have to be wealthy to make a difference; a compassionate heart alone can create meaningful change. Let us share love, hope, and kindness with those who need it most. What may appear small to you could mean the world to someone else.”

UMUGWANEZA Annonciathe thanked the members of H4H for their kindness and solidarity.
H4H continues to stand with vulnerable members of the community through acts of kindness, solidarity, and humanity in Musanze.
By visiting and supporting vulnerable people, H4H is spreading hope and reminding society that everyone deserves care, dignity, and love.
H4H’s outreach to a mother living with disability reflects the importance of empathy, inclusion, and social responsibility in our communities.
Beyond material support, spending time with vulnerable people and making them feel valued is one of the greatest gifts society can offer.
