Stromae Surprises Fans with New Documentary After Health-Related Hiatus

Stromae, who had been silent for over a year and four months, surprised his fans by announcing a new documentary film focused on the tour promoting his album “Multitude.”

The artist thanked his fans for the love and patience they showed him when he announced the cancellation of the remaining 14 concerts of the tour due to health issues.

Stromae assured his fans that he is ready to return soon and resume the world tour.

In a short letter posted on social media, Stromae revealed that although he had been focusing on his health, he and his team took the time to gather all the footage from the concerts they managed to perform.

They compiled this footage into a documentary that covers the journey of the concerts he held worldwide before stopping in April 2023.

He wrote, “My team and I carefully reviewed all the footage from the tour and turned it into a film. I want to give you another chance to experience or remember this journey. More detailed information will be shared soon.”

The 39-year-old Stromae stopped his 14-concert tour promoting his third album “Multitude” on April 4, 2023, due to health issues.

In March 2022, Stromae also canceled a concert he had in France, but at the time, no reason was given for the cancellation.

Back in late 2015, the artist had suffered from severe exhaustion due to his world tour promoting his second album “Racine Carrée.”

These issues kept Stromae away from music for nearly seven years.

At that time, it was also reported that the artist’s health problems were linked to the heavy medication he took to prevent Malaria during a trip to Africa.
