Niyo Bosco Reveals Date for His Upcoming Wedding
Gospel singer Niyo Bosco, who recently dedicated his career to worship music, has announced the expected date of his wedding, just two months after proposing to his fiancée.
Speaking during an interview on One on One, the artist,whose real name is Niyokwizerwa Bosco,revealed that although he hasn’t yet gathered enough financial means to host the ceremony, the wedding will take place no later than January 2026.
He said, “About the wedding… I can’t say much for now, but it won’t go beyond the first month of next year. If God allows it, I’ll make sure the celebration happens by then.”
On the night of Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Niyo Bosco proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Umukamisha Irene.
During the proposal, held at La Palisse Hotel Gashora, Niyo Bosco serenaded her with a song he composed using her name, Irene, and expressed deep affection with emotional words: “Loving you is an eternal vow. I want to love you deeply and tell the whole world that you’re the one I’ve been missing.”
The event followed his public revelation on September 9, 2025, when he announced to his fans that Irene was the woman who had truly captured his heart, in a heartfelt birthday message dedicated to her.
Niyo Bosco, famous for songs like Urugi, recently made a firm decision to stop producing secular music and focus entirely on gospel songs. He recently released his first worship track under this new direction, titled Daddy God, which has already been well-received by fans.
