This participation includes talented Rwandan tech innovators, underscoring the country’s commitment to advancing creativity and digital development.
The initiative is part of the Hanga Hubs Project, supported by the European Union (EU), which aims to promote Rwandan innovators and connect their work to global markets. The project helps creators design technology-driven solutions that meet international standards, empowering Rwanda to foster innovation grounded in advanced digital knowledge.
During the exhibition, Rwandan innovators Bashions Ltd and NTDM presented creative solutions demonstrating how Rwanda’s technology ecosystem can address both local and global challenges. Their innovations include digital business tools, data management systems, and applications designed to support community development.
The innovators also had the opportunity to engage with investors, technology experts, and global innovators, exchanging insights and exploring collaboration opportunities.
RISA also had the honor of hosting H.E. John Mirenge, Rwanda’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, who was accompanied by embassy staff. As highlighted, RISA’s participation in Gitex Global 2025 goes beyond representing technology; it’s about positioning Rwanda on the global map as a country with strong innovation capacity and digital market potential. Rwanda’s cybersecurity professionals continue to demonstrate how technology can enhance data protection, combat cyber threats, and support digital transformation across various sectors.
RISA pointed out that Gitex Global is a unique opportunity for Rwandan innovators to showcase their creations, gain global exposure, enhance knowledge, and establish partnerships with key international players.
